Precautions for use of horizontal trough mixer

1. Before use, a trial run shall be conducted. Before the trial run, the firmness of all connecting parts of the horizontal trough mixer, the amount of lubricating oil in the reducer and the integrity of electrical equipment shall be checked. Then, the main switch shall be closed and the power supply shall be connected to carry out the trial run.

2. It is required to test one by one during the trial run. It can be put into production only when there is no abnormal noise, high temperature of bearing gear, straight rise of reducer temperature and other adverse phenomena.

3. In operation, if it is necessary to scrape the materials on the slot wall of the mixer, bamboo and wood tools should be used instead of hands, so as to avoid hand injury.

4. In the use of horizontal trough mixer, if abnormal vibration or abnormal sound is found, it should be stopped immediately for inspection.

5. The load of the mixer should not be too large. Generally, the load of the motor is used to measure. When the 380V motor is used for mixing, the heavy load current should not exceed 6 amperes. If the load exceeds, the mixing capacity should be reduced immediately.

6. The shaft seals at both ends of the agitator should be kept clean to avoid blackening and deterioration of materials. Square holes should be left at the outer ends of the mixing tank, which should be unobstructed and should not be blocked, so as to avoid back pressure, which will make the dirt penetrate into the shaft and make the materials in the tank blacken and deteriorate.

7. Management personnel must be familiar with the technical performance, internal structure and control structure of horizontal trough mixer. It is not allowed to leave the work place during the operation period, so as to prevent the machine parts from being damaged due to failure, and ensure the safety production as the premise.
