Brief introduction of potassium sulfate materials:

Colorless or white crystals, granules or powders. No smell. It tastes bitter. It's hard. Stable in air. 1g is soluble in 8.3ml water, 4ml boiling water and 75ml glycerol, but insoluble in ethanol. Potassium chloride and ammonium sulfate can increase their solubility in water, but they are almost insoluble in saturated ammonium sulfate solution. The aqueous solution is neutral and pH is about 7. The relative density was 2.66. The melting point is 1067 ℃. Its main uses include biochemical test of serum protein, catalyst for Kjeldahl nitrogen determination, preparation of other potassium salts, fertilizer, medicine, preparation of glass, alum, etc.

Function and application of potassium sulfate material:

It is the basic raw material for manufacturing various potassium salts, such as potassium carbonate, potassium persulfate, etc. The glass industry is used as a clarifier. Working principle of disc dryer for potassium sulfate

The wet material is continuously added to the drying plate on the upper layer of the dryer from the feeder, and the rake arm with rake blade rotates to make the rake arm rotate to make the rake blade continuously turn over the material. The material flows through the surface of the drying plate along the exponential helix. The material on the small drying plate is transferred to the outer edge and falls to the outer edge of the large drying plate below. On the large drying plate, the material moves inward and falls into the following layer of small drying plate from the middle blanking port. The large and small drying plates are arranged alternately up and down, and the materials can flow through the whole dryer continuously. The hollow drying plate is filled with heating medium in the form of saturated steam, hot water and heat transfer oil. The heating medium enters from one end of the drying plate and exports from the other end. The dried material falls to the bottom layer of the shell from the latter drying plate, and then is transferred to the discharge outlet by the rake blade. The moisture escapes from the material and is discharged from the moisture outlet on the top cover. The moisture of the vacuum disc dryer is discharged from the vacuum pump outlet on the top cover. The dry material discharged from the bottom layer can be directly packed. By adding fin heater, solvent recovery condenser, bag type dust collector, dry material back mixing mechanism, induced draft fan and other auxiliary equipment, the drying production capacity can be improved, the paste and heat sensitive materials can be dried, the solvent can be easily recovered, and the pyrolysis and reaction operation can be carried out.
